At Belmont Primary School, the P&C Association is interested in actively promoting a strong school community through school-wide fun and inclusive fundraising activities, providing parents an opportunity to participate and be involved in their child’s school, and supporting communication and cooperation between parents, teachers and the wider community.  Through your P&C Association you can have a stronger voice to discuss issues of relevance to your family at school.

 

Our fundraising, supported by the school community's involvement, has raised funds for learning resources, school structures and student transport; for the operation of the Uniform Shop; and for additional incursion and excursion experiences for our students.  These activities have also provided opportunities for our school community to come together and to promote our school within the wider community.

 

Last year we had a sports carnival cake stall, footsteps sausage sizzle, a bake sale at the Belmont Hub launch, and a fabulous Christmas Raffle. 

 

Not only did these activities add to the fun of these events, the financial results contributed to our kids participating in The End-of-Year Muddy Gully Incursion with no extra cost to parents, and to student End-of-Year Awards vouchers.

 

Our P&C also manages the wholesale ordering of uniforms and supply of these to our school community, and our very special Leavers uniforms.  This is all done with no added cost to parents, with uniforms sold at wholesale cost to our school community.  We also manage the collection and supply of excellent condition second-hand uniform items. 

 

Without parent involvement on our P&C these things are unable to continue.  Please consider joining us!  

 

We only meet once a term, and through involvement firm friends and connections to our school have been made.  Give as little or as much of your time as you have to give.

 

Meeting dates will appear regularly in the school newsletter. All parents (and teachers!) are welcome at all general P&C meetings.
